"Fine" or 99.9% Pure Silver comes in various forms, Clay, Paste, Paper and Syringe, all of which I have used in the collection of jewellery you will find in my online shop and silver galleries.

It was invented by those darned clever Japanese, and is in the main, a reclamation of pure silver "dust " particles from the film and photographic industries. It is mixed with organic binders, and can be moulded, carved, and painted in paste form onto organic matter. It is left to dry completely and then fired either in a kiln, with a blow torch, or believe it or not on the top of a regular gas stove in the flames! I call it Domestic Alchemy...
The resultant residue after all organic binders and leaves etc have burnt away is ~ yes 99.9% Pure Silver. So that means you could have your very own Leaf/Flower/Seed Pod (as long as it's humanly possible!) reproduced in Silver...
I now use a Kiln for firing all my pieces, and all components are tumbled for hours after firing for extra strength and shine..
